Our research projects focus on:

  • Single molecule sensors:
    1. New physics concepts for Nanosensors operating at the quantum frontiers
    2. Sensor based on alignment of quantum energy levels of detected analyte molecules and sensor core (quantum dot array) considered as artificial molecule
    3. Design and fabrication of elements for quantum sensors
  • Strain tensor sensor (STS): a new sensor for monitoring sub-micron and micron scale strain, for early detection of mechanical failures and for monitoring health of sensitive infrastructure
  • Catalyst-Charge carrier source based sensor for sensing vapors, used in early detection of TATP explosives.

Still under construction

Dissemination of our research in this field is forthcoming.
